Free Skill Training Programmes in BSNL,Kerala

Regional Telecom Training Centre (RTTC), Trivandrum is one of the premier training institutes of BSNL. RTTC imparts in house and external training in modern Telecommunication Engineering, Information Technology and Management to BSNL employees & Officers as well as Officers and Staff of various Government organisations like Defense services, State/Central PSUs and Departments, Faculty Development Programs for Engg College/ITI/Polytechnic Faculty etc. BSNL Kerala is participating in skill training under Central sponsored state managed scheme (CSSM) of PMKVY 2.0 program.

BSNL Kerala is participating in skill training under Central sponsored state managed scheme (CSSM) of PMKVY 2.0 program. 990 candidates are assigned to Kerala BSNL under this program. Training is to be given in NSQF aligned Job roles in Telecom skill sector. This is a government funded program and the candidates are given the training free of cost. The assigned job roles are Optical Fibre technician, Broadband technician and Tower technician. All three are 340 Hrs courses. 3 batches of 30 students to be conducted by each District (Total 90).

1. Tower technician (Trivandrum) Qualification: 10+2 / ITI Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical
2. Broadband technician (Trivandrum,Kollam, Kannur, Alappuzha) Qualification: 10+2 / ITI (Electronics)
3. Optical Fibre technician (Trivandrum,Kottayam, Ernakulum, Thrissur, Palakkad, Kozhikode) Qualification: Class VIII
