Income Tax department has made Aadhaar-PAN linking mandatory for PAN holders who are required to file ITR. March 31, 2021 is the last date for PAN holders to link their PAN card with Aadhaar card. If you fail to link your PAN with Aadhaar, your PAN card might become invalid after March 31, 2021.
Instructions to link Aadhar card to PAN Card
- Open Official website of Income Tax department website www1.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/e-FilingGS/Services/LinkAadhaarHome.html
- Give PAN card number, Aadhar card number and give name to the respective field as per your Aadhar card.
- After filling the Captcha Code shown in the website and click the link button.
